Mumbai, Jan 8 (IANS) The iconic German rock band Scorpions will be performing in India once again after almost two decades since their last visit in 2008.
Scorpions are back in India as part of their 'Coming Home 2026' tour and will mark their first performance in Shillong on April 21 at JN Stadium.
They will make their second stop in Delhi-NCR on April 24 at HUDA Grounds.
Next, Scorpions will grace the stage in Bengaluru on April 26 at NICE Grounds. The final performance of the band will take place in Mumbai on April 30 at Jio Gardens.
The band members expressed their excitement about coming back to India after such a long time.
Klaus Meine shared a statement saying, “We are incredibly excited to finally be touring India again after such a long time and are looking forward to meeting our many, many fans in India. The concerts will also be a very special experience for us.”
Band's founder and guitarist Rudolf Schenker went on to add, “Sixty years after the band's founding, we're bringing our 'Coming Home' concert to India. It will be a unique celebration for our fans and for us.”
Lead guitarist Matthias Jabs added, “Finally playing in India again – and on top of that our now iconic ‘Coming Home’ concerts – will be spectacular and unforgettable for us as well.”
The music lovers will be able to buy their tickets from January 17th, 2026, exclusively on BookMyShow. The ticket sale will be live from 1 PM IST.
Formed in 1965 by Schenker, Scorpions have released 19 studio albums till now, which includes some timeless classics such as 'Rock You Like a Hurricane’, ‘Still Loving You’, ‘Send Me an Angel’, along with other noteworthy numbers including ‘Wind of Change’, ‘Love at First Sting’, ‘Blackout’ and ‘Crazy World’.
