Thiruvananthapuram: A lady bystander was bitten by a viper at a state-run hospital in Kerala's Kannur district on Saturday, according to sources.
Latha, who is 55 years old, was given first aid and taken to the Pariyaram Medical College hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
The incident took place at midnight at the Taliparamba Taluk hospital when the woman accompanying her pregnant daughter, was sleeping in the ward.—Inputs from Agencies
