Patna: On Friday, opposition leaders convened here to discuss how they might work together to defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. They also enjoyed some of Bihar's famous litti chokha and "Malda mangoes" to cement friendships.
Lunch was shared among the leaders during the four-hour opposition gathering.
Congressman Rahul Gandhi said at a news conference after the meeting, "Nitish (Kumar) ji has treated us to all the dishes of Bihar at lunch, from litti chokha to special gulab jamuns." "It was a wonderful spread of Bihar's cuisine, with litti chokha being everyone's favourite," added another opposition politician. Local delicacies like Malda mangoes and gulab jamuns were also available for our consumption. Kumar hosted the gathering at his home at No. 1 Aney Marg.—Inputs from Agencies
