The Governor shared with the NITI Aayog member all initiatives which are being taken by the State and Lok Bhavan in the realm of education, health, tourism and technology for projecting Arunachal Pradesh on the national stage. He solicited support of NITI Aayog for the same.
Highlighting the importance of connectivity as a driver of progress, the Governor urged NITI Aayog to facilitate greater inter-ministerial coordination and support resource mobilisation for key infrastructure projects. He pointed out that investments in roads, digital networks, power, healthcare, education, and border-area development would not only improve the quality of life of the people but also enhance tourism, trade, economic opportunities, and national security.
The Governor also drew attention to sectors where Arunachal Pradesh enjoys significant natural advantages, including hydropower, horticulture, organic farming, tourism, bamboo, medicinal plants, and the green economy.
He stressed initiatives that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, skill development, women-led growth, and youth empowerment, ensuring that the benefits of development reach every village while preserving the state’s pristine environment, cultural traditions, and indigenous heritage.
