He also said that in her assumption speech, the President emphasised on India's accomplishments and presented a futuristic vision of the path ahead at a time when India is marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.The Prime Minister tweeted:“The entire nation watched with pride as Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji took oath as the President of India. Her assuming the Presidency is a watershed moment for India especially for the poor, marginalised and downtrodden. I wish her the very best for a fruitful Presidential tenure.”“In her address after taking oath, President Droupadi Murmu Ji gave a message of hope and compassion. New Delhi (The Hawk): The Health Pavilion at the 41st India International Trade Fair (IITF) was opened on Monday by V.K. Paul, Member (Health), NITI Aayog.
"Heal in India, Heal by India" serves as the subject of the Health Ministry's pavilion this year.
The Health Pavilion highlights the Health Ministry's many programmes, projects, and accomplishments, including the recently inaugurated PM TB-Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, NACO, and AB PMJAY, among others.
Additionally, there are several booths for educational activities, life-saving techniques, and screening for conditions including diabetes, anaemia, high blood pressure, and BMI.
Paul spoke to the group on the occasion and emphasised the need of paying care to one's health.
He praised the pavilion's vendors and emphasised the importance of raising people's awareness of ailments like anaemia and diabetes that are imperceptible until they are identified.
Everyone was advised by Paul to approach the message of health as a mission.
Additionally, he urged all parties involved to spread the word about educational initiatives through a variety of media. All parties involved are urged to use the Health Pavilion as a micro-system to start a Jan Andolan toward greater health, he said.
The event's Special Secretary, S. Gopalakrishnan, emphasised the Digital Health programme and emphasised its worldwide application.
He added that if people are properly informed, many health issues may be remedied, and he expressed optimism regarding important reforms and activities being made in the health system.

New Delhi: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday participated in the 'Uttarakhand Day' celebrations at a cultural event organised on the occasion at the Uttarakhand Pavilion at the ongoing 41st India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in the national capital.
Colourful performances were staged by folk artistes from Uttarakhand at the Natyashala theatre, on the sidelines of the trade fair.
The theme for the trade fair this year is 'Vocal for Local, Local to Global'.
The Uttarakhand CM said, "The migrant residents of Uttarakhand have had a big contribution to the development of our state. This is the collective development journey for us where we have to take the state forward on the path of development."
He said the migrant residents of Uttarakhand are the state's 'brand ambassadors'.
Dhami said events like the International Trade Fair provide an opportunity to get acquainted with the progress made by different states. "This trade fair is an excellent example of vibrant participation of the people of Uttarakhand," he said.
At the trade fair, Uttarakhand will showcase the sustainable development taking place in the state, the policies and programmes of the state government, handloom and handicrafts of the state and products of the state's agriculture and horticulture sector.
The Uttarakhand CM said, "Good law-and-order situation, clean environment, rail, road and air transport facilities, cheap and uninterrupted power supply and unpolluted water resources make for a congenial environment for investments in the state. Our government is actively trying to develop the state as a most suitable destination for investment. Even in previous years, efforts were made to make maximum use of investment opportunities. Uttarakhand has not only established itself as a preferred destination for investors but is also making continuous efforts in ensuring ease of doing business." "After Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, hope, faith and new energy have been infused in the country and the countrymen. Under his leadership, the country is making rapid progress in every field. India's respect, honor and self-respect has increased at the global level. MYSURU NEWS: India's SD Prajwal Dev made his way into the singles pre-quarterfinals of the ITF Mysuru Open 2023 with a 6-4, 7-5 win over compatriot S Abhinav Sanjeev at the Mysore Tennis Club on Wednesday.

Prajwal was scheduled to meet experienced Indian player Ramkumar Ramanathan, who was seeded fifth here, but the latter had to withdraw from the tournament owing to an injury.

Prajwal, the 26-year-old Mysuru lad, will face his countryman Vishnu Vardhan in the Round of 16.

The USD 25,000 event is being hosted by the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA).

But the biggest shock of the day came when unseeded Briton George Loffhagen, a world number 182, shocked top seeded Nam Hoang Ly of Vietnam 6-3, 6-4.

However, the second seeded Oliver Crawford of USA and Oriov Vladyslav of Ukraine had better fortunes on the day, advancing to the pre-quarterfinals.

Crawford had little trouble in vanquishing Manish Ganesh, a wildcard entrant from India, with a 6-1, 6-3 victory. But Vladyslav faced stiff challenge from India's Niki Poonacha before emerging a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 victor.

Eighth seeded Australian Ellis Blake too booked a berth in the pre-quarterfinals after his Indian opponent Siddharth Vishwakarma, a qualifier, withdrew from the match while leading 2-0 in the first set.

Fourth seeded Mukund Sasikumar took to court late in the evening against Serbia's Boris Butulija. But the skies opened up to interrupt the match when the Indian player was leading 2-1 in the first set. The match will resume on Thursday. IANS

New Delhi [India]: Assam Day will be celebrated here on Wednesday at the ongoing 42nd India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2023 at the Pragati Maidan. Assam's Minister for Industries and Commerce, Public Enterprises and Cultural Affairs, Bimal Borah, will be the chief guest at the function. Various programmes have been lined up to showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of Assam to be held at one of the amphitheatres.

An Assam Pavilion was also being set up at the fair venue, showcasing the state's rich culture and its offerings. It was inaugurated by the Additional Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Government of Assam Ravi Kota on November 14.

Various initiatives of the government of Assam including One District One Product, GI products -- Assam Lemon, Gamusa, Muga silk etc -- along with traditional dresses of Assam, Ease of Doing Business, Assam Start-Up, are being promoted. The Assam Pavilion houses five numbers of government departments or PSUs, 32 MSME units, and two start-ups. The theme of this year's India International Trade Fair is 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam - United by Trade'. The two-week-long fair will come to a close on November 27.
