Lucknow (The Hawk): Adipurush, a Bollywood film, has been requested to be banned in a plea filed with the Allahabad High Court's Lucknow division. Agnihotri requested a ban on the film, which would be released on January 12 of next year, citing the inappropriate material in the previously published teaser. In court appearance on behalf of the Union government, attorney Ashwani Singh claimed that the petitioner had named the Center, the State, the Censor Board, Om Raut, the director of the film, as well as actors Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Menon in the complaint. The hearing's next date has not yet been determined.
