Aurraiya, UP (The Hawk): In Murcha village, Auraiyya district, two bodies—a 17-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man—were discovered hanging in a room near a water pump building.
They asked for their family members to perform their final rites with them in a suicide note that was found in the tube well room. In their suicide note, they claimed that they were making the drastic decision on their own and that nobody should be held accountable for it.
A polytechnic student named Shivam Kumar fell in love with his next-door neighbour, but their families disapproved of the union.
Due to the objections from their families, the two were angry.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, according to circle officer M P Singh in Bidhuna, and after obtaining the findings, appropriate action would be taken.
The CO reported that they had found a suicide note at the scene in which both of them begged to be cremated together after they died rather than separately.
