Varanasi (The Hawk): In a case involving fleeing with weapons while having his licence revoked, former MLA Vijay Mishra received a two-year sentence. Under section 25 of the Arms Act, the court of Mukesh Kumar, additional chief judicial magistrate, in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, condemned him to two years in prison and a fine of Rs 10,000; under section 30, he received a six-month sentence of solitary confinement and a fine of Rs 5,000.
