Noida (The Hawk): In Noida, a 1-year-old child was killed by stray dogs after being mauled, according to the police.
The incident happened on Monday night at Sector 100's Lotus Boulevard Society, according to the police.
According to the authorities, Sapna and Rajesh Kumar, the toddler's parents, were employed at a road construction site.
The dogs attacked Sapna as he moved away from the young child who was playing with his sibling.
The police said, "Sapna and a few others hurried the toddler to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries after the victim's brother raised an alert."
Attacks by stray dogs are happening more frequently.
Local neighbours claim that when authorities removed the stray animals for sterilisation and released them back into society, the issue grew worse.

The incident happened on Tuesday at 12:04 p.m. when the mother attempted to board a crowded local train at Mankhurd that was headed for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus while holding her 1-year-old child in her arms.
According to CR chief spokesperson Shivaji Sutar, who shared a video of the incident, the woman lost her balance due to the crowdedness, slipped, and fell in the space between the moving train and the platform.
When other commuters saw this, they hurried to help the horrified woman onto the platform. At the same time, a nearby alert RPF policeman, Akshay Soye, leapt to take the woman's infant.
Sutar praised the actions of constable Soye for saving the mother and kid from imminent harm or death and stated that while they were both in a state of shock, they were both safe and sound.
Around 62 people have been saved this year by the RPF jawans of the CR's vigilance teams in various regions of Maharashtra, often at the danger of their own life. Many CCTV or commuter videos of these instances have gone viral on social media or in traditional media.
According to the officials, a maximum of 24 lives were saved from these in the congested Mumbai Division alone, 14 from Nagpur Division, 12 from Pune Division, 8 from Bhusaval Division, and 4 from Solapur Division.

According to Gupta, the state government has spent Rs 1 crore treating 14 children for a rare condition, and just Rs 13 lakh has come via crowdfunding.
Doctors have demanded that more money be raised through crowdsourcing. The government has also received a letter in response to this.
Due to the high patient volume, Gupta has also requested that pharmaceutical companies use their own CSR Fund to lower the margin price of medications in the hospital.
The Central government supplies 6% of all medications.

The accused, known as Kaju, alais Kishanpal, brought the kid to a cane field as he was outside playing and then hacked him to death.
When the minor's family started looking for him, they discovered his dead in the field and the suspect nearby.
When the locals tried to stop him, the accused stabbed them with a knife.
According to Bulandshahr's Superintendent of Police (SP), Surendra Nath Tiwari, Kishanpal was beaten by the villagers before police arrived and took him to the local hospital.
"On the basis of the allegation submitted by the child's relatives, a case under section 302 (murder) has been initiated against the accused. But on Thursday, while receiving therapy, he passed away," SP stated.
After a post-mortem, the body of the minor was given to the family, according to the police.
According to the SP, the accused's family has been notified and his body has been sent for a post-mortem.

Thiruvananthapuram (The Hawk): Doctors at a private hospital on the outskirts of the capital city successfully extracted a TV battery from the stomach of a two-year-old boy and saved his life.
Endoscopy allowed gastroenterologist Jayakumar from the NIMS Hospital to remove the television battery from the boy's stomach.
"The child, Rishikesh, was brought here after his parents had initially taken him to a nearby hospital. When we learned what had occurred, we promptly notified the operating room and administered anaesthesia. Within twenty minutes, the battery was extracted from his stomach. If it had been deposited elsewhere, the situation would have gotten quite problematic.
"The child is presently in good health," declared Jayakumar.
The toddler swallowed the five-centimeter-long and 1.5-centimeter-wide battery from the TV remote control while playing with it.

Agra: In Agra, a group of stray dogs attacked two young children, killing a 3-year-old and injuring a 6-year-old girl.

The incident took place in Kumargarh village under the Doki police station limits.

"A three-year-old girl was attacked by stray dogs when she was playing in front of her house. She was dragged by the dogs to an open field outside the village," sub-inspector Ashok Kumar said.

The official also mentioned that the other young girl who tried to save the toddler had been attacked by the dogs, but managed to escape.

Police said the 3-year-old died from his wounds before residents could assemble to drive the dogs away.

"While the family is yet to lodge an official complaint, the other girl is undergoing treatment," said Kumar, who had accompanied assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Saurabh Singh to the village after the incident.
