Fatehpur : &nbsp;A teenage girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur allegedly consumed poison and died, a day after she was raped by a youth in her village, the police said on Thursday.The incident took place in the Chandpur police circle of the district.Fatehpur Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh said the 15-year-old Dalit girl had gone to a forested area to relieve herself near the village on Tuesday evening when she was allegedly raped.When the girl did not return home till late in the night, her parents launched a search and found her in the forest in a state of disarray, the SP said.Her family members took her to a private doctor and brought her back home after treatment.The girl, however, consumed some poisonous substance on Wednesday and died during treatment, the SP said.He said after registering a case on the complaint of the girl’s parents, the accused youth has been taken into custody for questioning.The girl’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination—IANS

Fatehpur: In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old man, playing the role of Hanuman in a Ramlila, died on stage during his performance in Salempur village of Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district.
Ram Swaroop, suffered a heart attack during his performance and died on Saturday night. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
"During Ramlila's presentation, soon after the tail of Hanuman was set afire, Ram Swaroop, who was playing the character, slumped to the ground and died within a minute. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead," an official said.&nbsp;
Ram Swaroop's wife Anusuiya and other family members were present when the incident took place.
Village head Gulab said Ram Swaroop used to ferry a cart to make his living.
"He is survived by his wife and two-year-old daughter, Roopa," he said.
The family performed the last rites of the body on Sunday evening without informing the police.
Station house officer, Dhata, Praveen Kumar said the incident had come to his notice and a police team would visit the village to investigate the matter.&nbsp;

Fatehpur,UP (The Hawk): The death of a young man in this district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday is being investigated as a suicide after a failed romantic relationship.The 23-year-old man's suicide note hinted at a failed romantic relationship.According to Inspector (Colonelganj) Ram Mohan Rai, a suicide note was found at the scene and turned over to the authorities. “Initial investigations revealed a failed love affair drove the youth to end his life”.The police have notified the affected family members and located the weapon used in the crime.A postmortem will be performed on the body.(Inputs from Agencies)

New Delhi (The Hawk): The Central Bureau of Investigation detained a guy from South Delhi on Friday for engaging in sextortion and extorting money from a professor at a prestigious US university.
The investigation into the US inputs was started by the CBI.
$48,000 worth of payments were made by the victim to the accused's Paypal account. Even after receiving the extortion money, the accused persisted in continuing to send the victim menacing emails in which he demanded that he purchase an iPhone charger and earbuds.
Rahul Kumar, a resident of Asola, Fatehpur, was named as the suspect.
According to a senior CBI official, the International Operation Division of the CBI filed the case against the accused and others based on charges including the sextortion of a professor at a prestigious US university based on information obtained from that nation.
According to allegations, the victim was seduced by a Facebook profile, and while video chatting, sexually explicit photographs were captured and the victim was then subjected to blackmail.
Taking control of the situation, the accused began sending the victim extortion threats via email using the email addresses associated with the aforementioned sexually graphic video conversation, demanding money in his Paypal account as well as other assets.
If his demands were not satisfied, he threatened to have the victim release the sexually graphic video.
Incriminating evidence was found after searches were carried out at the accused's Asola, New Delhi, residence.
The arrested suspect is currently being presented before the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court.

Agra: About half a dozen foreign tourists have been injured in an attack by honeybees at the monument of Fatehpur Sikri.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon and the injured tourists were escorted to the primary health centre in Fatehpur Sikri where they were discharged after first aid. Deepak Kumar, the conservation assistant for Archaeological Survey of India at the monument of Fatehpur Sikri, said, "These foreigners were in a group which mostly had tourists from France and were walking from Agra Gate towards Diwan-e-Aam in Fatehpur Sikri. It was rather hot, and honeybees attacked them."
The attack by honeybees is nothing new at the monument of Fatehpur Sikri, located 40 kilometres from Agra city, towards the Rajasthan border.
Beehives are common along the upper curve of Buland Darwaza and on arches of Shahi Jama Masjid in Fatehpur Sikri. The removal of these hives is in the list of tasks to be undertaken by the ASI. "We are planning to have a detailed plan to tackle the issue of beehives spread at monuments," said an ASI official.&nbsp;

Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh): Two people died, several got injured and three people are still trapped after a three-storey building collapsed in the Fatehpur Kotwali area of Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district, said police. According to the Superintendent of Police Barabanki District Dinesh Kumar Singh, the two deceased have been identified as Roshni Bano (22) and Hakimuddin (28), both residents of Barabanki district's Fatehpur town.
"Late night at 3 am, a three-storey building suddenly collapsed in Barabanki's Fatehpur Kotwali area. There was a stir in the whole area due to the loud sound of the building falling. We received information about this from the local residents," said the SP. The SP further said that shortly after the information about the collapse was received, the police along with the fire brigade and a team of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) reached the spot. "The rescue team immediately started the rescue operations and 12 people were pulled out of the debris. They were seriously injured in the collapse," said the police. The SP added that the 12 injured were then sent to the district hospital for treatment. "During the treatment, two people succumbed to their injuries and died. Eight others in critical condition were sent to Lucknow's King George's Medical University (KGMU). Two people have been discharged after first aid treatment at the district hospital," added the official. The injured that have been sent to the KGMU for treatment have been identified as Mehak (12), Shakeela (50), Sultan (24), Kulsum (47) Zainab Fatima (7), Zafarul Hasan (20), Salman (26) and Sameer (16). The two injured who have been discharged from the district hospital are Mohammed Azam (18) and Altamas (11), both residents of Fatehpur town in Barabanki district, said officials. The official stated that by 6 am, the rescue team was still evacuating three people who were trapped under the debris of the building.  "As per the local residents, the building was not dilapidated and had been built only a few years back," added the SP.  The official further said that the reason for the collapse has not been ascertained and that further investigation into the matter is underway. Further details into the matter are awaited.
