Chandauli: Asserting that only Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has Uttar Pradesh mandate, BJP president Amit Shah said that even if Congress joins the Samajwadi Party- Bahujan Samaj Party 'Bua-Bhatija' alliance, the BJP seats in UP will increase.

Addressing the gathering while inaugurating new Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, earlier known as Mughalsarai Junction at Mugalsarai, Mr Shah said "Today is a very important day for every BJP workers as Mughalsarai junction is named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, a great visionary, pillar of our ideology and promulgator of 'Integral Humanism', who was brutally murdered here in 1968".
Speaking about National Register of Citizen (NRC) issue Mr Shah said "I am asking Rahul Gandhi for past seven days that you must clear your stand whether 'NRC' should be implemented in the country or not, but he has no answer". He alleged that Congress and other associate parties do not want NRC to be implemented and Bangladeshi infiltrators should remain in the country to serve their politics of vote bank.
He said that regardless of whether the Congress party support the Bill to give constitutional recognition to OBC Commission, the BJP Government at the Center will pass the bill and provide the right to live with respect to the OBC community of the country.
"Congress should clarify to the people of the nation, whether the Congress party will support the Bill to give constitutional recognition to OBC Commissions in the Rajya Sabha or not" he pointed out.
BJP president said that Modi government has spent more in 4 years for development of Purvanchal compared to 70 years' of Congress. BJP government has opened this region to whole new dimensions of development.
Slamming previous SP-BSP government of UP, Mr Shah said "In 15 years, under the rule of SP-BSP, UP's law and order was extremely pathetic, criminals were dominating and the chaos was at the peak, while in the Yogi government, criminals in the state were forced to run away from Uttar Pradesh".
He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, the central government has decided to increase the minimum support price of crops by one and half times to the cost price, fulfilling the much anticipated demand of the farmers of the country for 70 years. UNI
