3 yrs extension to HSSC chairman reflects double speak of Khattar govt: Surjewala

Senior Congress leader and party's national media in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala on Sunday said three years extension to the Haryana Staff Selection Commission chairman

Bharat Bhushan Bharti despite the serious corruption charges reflect the double speak of Khattar
government on corruption issue and is cheating with the unemployed youths.
Addressing the 'Adhikaar Rally' at Amin village in Thanesar assembly segment of this district, the Congress leader said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and BJP on one side make false claims on ending corruption,
on the other hand corruption is dominating the state and common man is suffering from it.
Despite the serious corruption charges and pending inquiry, Mr Bharti was given extension for three years
as the Chairman of Staff Selection Commission. Now, the public has clearly understood that the so-called investigation is only an eye wash and Bharti's activities have full support and protection of the BJP government, but the millions of unemployed youth and the Congress party will not accept that injustice, he added.
He said BJP rule has totally disappointed the people of Haryana with its anti-people and anti-youth policies. The people are waiting for the elections to defeat BJP for its casteist, opportunism, misrule and corruption.
"The BJP legislators and MPs in Haryana are afraid of facing the people in the next elections. The Kurukshetra MP has already announced not to contest the next election on the BJP symbol and the Bhiwani MP has openly expressed his desire to not contest the Lok Sabha election at all. The position of Karnal and Gurgaon MPs is said to be no different," he claimed.
Mr Surjewala launched scathing attacks on the BJP leadership for its failure to honour any of its 154 pre-poll promises made to youth, farmers and different sections of the society.
He also criticised BJP government for not decreasing VAT on diesel and petrol and increasing the prices of the same by Rs 10.73 and Rs 9.98 respectively in last eight months.
