"Sustainable Learning is the key for success in all spheres of life"- Manish Jain

Noida: 3rd IPN Leadership Summit on Sustainable Learning-21st Century Mantra for India's Schools was organised by Indian Principals Network at Hotel Radisson Blu, Greater Noida, in which more than 125 participants took active part. After lightening the lamp , a welcome song was presented by students of Bharat Ram Global School Greater Noida.

In the inaugural speech Mr Gaurava Yadav founder of IPN welcomed the resource persons, guestspeakers, principals of 120 schools from all over the country and other participants. Mr Gaurava Yadav briefed the history of IPN and said-"Indian Principals Network(IPN) was founded in 2016, with the aim to create knowledge exchange and collaboration among school leaders across boundaries. More than 1000 school principals are the members of IPN working for the enhancement of quality in school education."
Speaking about 3rd IPN Summit, he informed –"The theme of 3rd IPN Summit is chosen as Sustainable Learning -21st century mantra for India's Schools. As 21st century is fast presenting varied set of scholastic and co- scholastic challenges to the school educators in India and abroad. Though the technology is enabling exchange of ideas and information like never before it is also presenting some grave challenges, in wake of this opportunities and challenges it's imperative for school leaders to create a fine balance between learning and teaching creating a balance environment for 'Sustainable learning' for future growth and progress."Mr. Gaurava Yadav was awarded Asian Communication Award in the Year 2012 in Singapore for his work towards building Asia's leading community for Information Technology Leaders.
Mr Manish Jain -an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and Stanford university took a special session for the school leaders on the topic "Creative self -driven Learning for 21st century skill for students" and highlighted the main areas of the topic. Dr Sanjay Modi , Executive Dean , Lovely Professional University spoke on the topic " Leadership Role in Sustainable Learning" while Mr Nass Botha , Sports performance coach (inducted in South Africa Hall of Fame ) took a special session on the topic "Creating a world class culture of sports in Indian Schools".

An expert talk on the topic "Psychological Well-being in the school Context" was delivered by Dr Michelle Joseph. Mr.Vikramjit SinghRooprai of Heritage Shala, Youth for Heritage Foundation present his presentation 0n the topic "Where did we go wrong in teaching?"
In a penal discussion, Mrs amrita Burman, Deputy Director, Sunbeam Group Varanasi, Mrs Anu Mishra, Chairperson , Mahatama Hansraj School, Jhansi., Mr Ram Mohan, Director,Suditi Group, Mainpuri and Mr Rakesh Tayal, Member secretary, PIET Group of Institutions, Panipat took active part and presented their views on Sustainable Learning. Team Street Level Awareness Programme was discussed by a group comprising Mr MrigankaDadwal, Founder Director,SLAP.,MsAvani Bansal, Advocate Supreme Court of India and Ms Deepti Goel, NISM Certified Investment Advisor.
In order to discuss/collaborate and pave the path for action, the 3rd IPN Leadership Summit saw leaders from School Leadership, Industry and Academia to discuss and develop a way forward. IPN continues to work with various stakeholders in the value chain of schooling system in order to keep India and its school pupils right up there with the best in the world. aware of the fact it will involve interventions at each level and the approach will be 'Bottom Up' and inclusive growth, rather than creating specific islands of excellence.
