New Delhi: Pandemonium prevailed in the Lok Sabha on Friday after Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury raised the issue of BJP MP Pragya Singh Thakur's remarks on Nathuram Godse and amid chaos adjourning the House for lunch the Speaker Om Birla convened a meeting of all floor leaders.
Earlier during Zero Hour, turmoil prevailed in the House over Pragya Singh Thakur's remarks made on Wednesday.
Speaker said "no politics should be done" on Ms Thakur's reported remarks on Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Godse.

He also said Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the deputy leader of the House, has already said in the House that the BJP not only condemns such statements made in Parliament but also flays such thought process.
Mr Singh said on Thursday in the House that BJP never supports such statement or ideology.
"The very soch (thinking) of Nathuram Godse being deshbhakt (patriot), should end," Defence Minister has said.
Earlier, Bhopal MP Pragya Singh Thakur tendered apology in the House and said: "If in any manner I have hurt anyone, I tender apology and seek forgiveness)".

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said the ruling dispensation has highest regards for Mahatma Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has himself directed all BJP lawmakers and ministers to embark on Pad Yatras to highlight Gandhiji's life and teachings. --UNI
